Allan Pomatto

Allan Pomatto inducted by Jerry Hill.

As a bowler, I got a later start than most in this game we all love and love to hate at times. My first league was to spend time with my parents in an
adult league at the age of 18. It was followed by a brief stint in the US Navy and then traveling the world working for the Department of the Navy. I always seemed to find time for bowling with my friends and family despite all the travel. I almost always had a ball and some shoes
with me during my travels. I got to participate in bowling clinics, tournaments and leagues throughout the United States and have been blessed to meet great people and bowlers all along the way. After giving
up the road life in the early 2000s, I was able to participate more locally and found some success in local leagues and tournaments. In 2004 I met my soulmate in Andrea Kozloski. She started coming to leagues with me
and then tournaments. With her prodding I started bowling more events and things have just blossomed from there. When you look back on things it’s crazy to think about all the memories and friendships that
were brought about because of this sport. Some notable Achievements
to date are:
(20) 300 games
(5) 800 series
2017 Greater Charleston USBC Hall of Fame
2020 Charleston City Match Games Champion
2020 Sr Big Dog Champion
2021 & 2023 Greater Charleston Sr All Events Champion
2022 SC State Sr All Events Champion
