Taylors – Services for DeFoy Estee Cudd, 60, of 210 Ravensworth Road will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Taylors First Baptist Church, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Eternity Section.
Memorials may be made to Vision 20/20 of the church or the South Carolina Lions Eye Bank. Mackey Mortuary of Greenville is in charge.
Mr. Cudd died Thursday, May 4, 1995. Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of Druscilla Elden Cudd and the late Denny Cudd. He was employee of Carolina First Bank.
He was a member of Greenville Lions Club, S.C. Lions Hall of Fame and Taylors First Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher.
He was a former district governor of Lions International, former president of S.C. Eye Bank, S.C. Lions Sight Conservation Association and Greenville Chapter of the S.C. Association to prevent Blindness, former district cabinet secretary of Lions and a Melvin Jones Fellow.
Mr. Cudd was a member of the State Bowling Association, the State and National Hall of Fame for the National Bowling Congress and former secretary for the Southeastern Region of the American Bowling Conference.
He was a member of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Greenville.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Wood Cudd; a daugher, Elizabeth Dunlap of Charlotte; sisters, Patsy Allen, Joyce Edwards and Doris Tesner, all of Spartanburg; and brothers, Charles and Ronnie Cudd, both of Spartanburg.
