This write up is from the Greater Columbia Hall of Fame – A charter member of the GCBA Hall of Fame, Gregory was honored in the category of Meritorious Service. Gregory was the first President of the SCSBA and served a total of four years in that post. Gregory also held every office in the GCBA and was secretary at the time of his death. He was a Vice President of the Southern Bowling Congress and was instrumental in bringing that tournament to Columbia in 1966. Gregory was a member of the first City Tournament Championship Team in 1950-51 and won the 1960 Singles Championship with a 697 total.
