Robby Smith inducted by Walter Raines
I have been bowling for 32 years. I am originally from Cherokee, NC of Native American descent. I am a
lettered multiple times in both football & baseball in high school and played in the NC/SC Shrine Bowl. I played football semi-professionally until injuries derailed my career. Now, I take out my frustrations by decimating bowling pins. I have been and am currently in the top 10 averages in Greenville County since 1987. I also have been working Wednesday nights and Saturdays, and any fill-in times needed, for the past 8 years at Bowling Connection Pro Shop in Simpsonville,
SC, under Robby Hydrick and Gary Allen drilling, repairing, and cleaning equipment. I’ve bowled 91 300 Games, 8 299 Games and 55 800 Series (856 being the highest). I have placed 1st in numerous leagues and just last year was inducted into the Greenville County and Pickens County Bowling Hall of Fame.
