Sherri began her bowling career at the age of five in the Camden YABA.
In 1987, she won the state youth Coca-Cola Tournament in Columbia, SC and advanced to the National Tournament in St. Louis, MO, where she placed in the top 20.
As an adult bowler, Sherri has been a member of the Camden WBA, Grand Strand WBA, and is a current member of the Columbia WBA where she serves on the Board of Directors as Sergeant-At-Arms. Sherri also served for 10 years as a Columbia WBA Director. She has also served her association by being a member and chairman of many committees including Publicity, Audit, Hall of Fame Banquet, Lane Certification, Policy and Procedures, Poster, Tournament Rules, Tournament Theme, and Ways and Means.
Sherri’s league awards include high game, high series and high average. Her highest league average is 214 – high series is 785. She has bowled eight 275-299 games and twelve 700 series.
In February of 2004, Sherri had her first 300 game……
Sherri has made the CWBA All Star Team yearly since 1995 and in June 2004 was inducted into the Columbia WBA Hall of Fame for Bowling Achievement.
Sherri is an asset to the Columbia WBA and the South Carolina WBA and is a vital member of the bowling community.
Her selection as a member of the South Carolina Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame for her Bowling Achievement is greatly deserved.
