Shirley has been a member of the bowling association for over 39 years. She has been very active at the local level serving as President for 16 years, Vice President for 2 years and director for 6 years. She has served on all committees. On the state level she served as a director on the SCWBA for 2 years and is presently serving as a director on the state board. She has served on many committees for the state and has helped with the State Tournament and Senior Tournament. She served with the youth program in Oconee County for many years and as Association Manager. She is a certified coach and a registered volunteer. Shirley is a calm, laid back person who doesn’t like to be pushed. Pet peeves are inefficiency and procrastination. As Support Services Specialist with USDA-Forest Service, was supervisor for 2 full time and 8 part time employees. Again we want to congratulate Shirley Miller for being inducted into the South Carolina Hall of Fame in the Meritorious Services for Adults Category in the 2010-2011 year.
