Alberta “Bert” has been a member of the SCUSBC for 33 years and has worked with the local youth 29 years. She has served as Secretary of the local youth board for 29 years. She served on the State board for 2 years. She has been a certified coach for 26 years.
Bert was very reliable and dependable in performing her duties as local secretary of the youth board. She is a very good communicator with the state and national organization. Bert was respected by the bowling community.
Bert is a member of the Spartanburg USBC Youth Hall of Fame and served as chairperson for the state scholarship committee for 2 years. She has assisted with several learn to bowl clinics with her husband Ray.
We would like to congratulate Alberta “Bert” on being inducted into the South Carolina USBC Hall of Fame 2008 in the Youth Category.
