This write up is from the Greater Columbia Hall of Fame – Claude Chester was a mainstay of bowling politics in South Carolina until the time of hes death. Chester held every office in the GCBA as well as the Southeastern Bowling Congress, an organization that he helped to found. Chester also served nine years as an ABC Director. Claude participated in all of the GCBA City Tournament until the time of his death and had personal highs of a 279 game and a 698 series. Chester was inducted into the Hall in 1973.
