Eula Shook

From Kent Smith:  Eula Shook was a founding member of the Spartanburg AJBC/YABA Association.  She served as head coach for 15 years, city tournament director for 12 years, and was a state director for 10 years.  Her concern for and support of youth bowling was well known throughout the state of SC.  In 1994, as a result of her work with the youth and women’s bowling programs in Spartanburg, she was elected to the Spartanburg WBA Hall of Fame.

From Eula Shook:  I am a lady that loved to work with youth bowlers; and a coach for 13 years in Spartanburg; served on the SCJBA for about nine or ten years; and enjoyed every minute.  The biggest thing was everyone selling candy so we could take our junior bowlers to the SC Tournament.  The adults in Spartanburg were so much help and we all had a good time working with our juniors.
