Jackie Cox

Jackie began coaching in 1957 (over 40 years ago) and became a certified coach instructor in 1962.  She served 8 years as the secretary of the Pensacola (Florida) Junior Bowling Association and along with her husband, Harold, helped to establish the Pensacola and State of Florida Junior Associations.  Jackie then returned to the Charleston area and served on the YABA Board for 17 years in various capacities.  She has also been involved in the Charleston Women’s Bowling Association for 15 years serving as 1st Vice President and Chairman of the Charleston Bowler’s Cookbook committee.  She is a member emeritus of the Charleston Women’s Bowling Association.  Her greatest contribution to youth bowling has been the training she and her husband Harold have given to numerous volunteers as Instate Instructors for 15 years.

She is also a pretty good bowler with a high game of 268 and 648 high series.  Her teams have also finished first in the Charleston WBA City Tournament.

Jackie and her husband, Harold, have three children and six grandchildren who have all been involved in bowling.
