Ron Bush

Ronald “Ron” Bush has been a member of the Charleston Association for over 35 years.  He has served on the local board as Vice President, a state delegate 20 times and Executive Director for the Men and Women association.  He has bowled in many local and state association tournaments and the southeastern.  He has worked promoting bowling in the local association for over 20 years.  He has bowled in the state and national tournament and won the senior tournament in 2005 in the 60-64 division.  He has bowled a 300 game, 50 games of 250-299 and over 10 – 700 series.  His highest game is 300, highest series 779 and highest average is 194.  He won the March of Dime’s traveling Trophy and bowled his first 11 in a row in the 1975 local tournament.

Ron worked as a pin chaser and counter helper at night and helped the local association to set up a computer to keep track of local memberships before we had Winlabs.  He then helped the local association to set up WinLabs.  He was inducted into Charleston Hall of Fame in 2002 and is a life member of the association.  He bowls in many leagues and helps promote bowling to all bowlers.

Again we congratualte Ron on being inducted into the South Carolina Hall of Fame under Pioneer Services in the 2011-2012 bowling season.
