Louis has been a dedicated lover of the game of bowling since he became a pin setter at the age of 10 in Ashtabula, Ohio.
In 1952 he moved to St. Petersburg, FL where he continued to particiapte in all areas of bowling, league officers, tournaments, etc.
In 1972 Lou and his family moved to Anderson, SC where he has continued to be active. He was elected as Assistant Sec./Treas. in 1976-77. Elected Sec./Treas. in 1977-78 and still holds that office at the present time.
He was elected as Anderson Bowling Association Life Member in 1984, Anderson Hall of Fame in 1986. In 1980 Lou was elected to the SCSBA Board of Directors and in 1994 was elected President of SCSBA.
Lou is a certified Lane Inspector and still helps in lane inspections.
During all these years, he has committed himself to the game of bowling, helping bowlers in any way he could.
Since moving to Anderson, he has bowled in all city and state tournaments. He has participated in many National Tournaments and attended National Delegate meetings.
Lou still bowls and serves as officer in many leagues, including 2 senior leagues.
