Pat Bratton

Pat Dusenbury Bratton was born to Mike (deceased) and Mary Dusenbury in Conway, SC.  She has been married to William “Bill” Bratton, Sr. for 44 years and they have two sons.  Mike and his wife Cheryl live in Meridian, MS. with their three children.  Bill, Jr. resides in Charleston.  Pat is a homemaker.  Her hobbies are bowling and crafts.

 

Pat’s bowling started in Misawi, Japan, where her husband was serving in the Air Force and continued at Whitman Air Force Base, MO., before moving back to Charleston in 1973, where her husband retired.  Her average the first year was a 95.  Her current average is 156.  Pat’s high game was a 278 and high series of 671.  Pat started out in Misawi as secretary and has served on all other league offices over a period of many years.  She currently bowls on three leagues and is secretary on one of them.  Pat has served on the Charleston WBA as Director (1978-1983), Sgt at Arms 5 years, Secretary 2 years and 7 months and is currently serving as a Director.  She has represented Charleston as a WIBC delegate for 16 years.  Pat has served as a SCWBA Board of Director for 11 years.

 

Pat has been an active supporter of the SCWBA and Charleston WBA since 1973 and continues to work hard for the game of bowling.  Her loyalty and devotion for our State and Local Associations cannot be adequately expressed.

 

Pat is loved and respected by her Charleston WBA for her leadership and new ideas.  Her commitments to the game of bowling has always been above and beyond reproach, and she has represented Charleston well.

 

The Charleston WBA is proud that Pat has received the honor of being inducted into the SCWBA Hall of Fame.
