Ricky Marshall

Marshall has been a member of the Carolina Foothills USBC Association (Formerly Spartanbug USBC) since 1998. He started his bowling career at age 18 at the old Pinewood Bowling Center in Spartanburg, coached by Mac Sanders.

Marshall has bowled in serveral leagues each week throughout the county for many years. He currently bowls at Star Lanes on the Spartan All Stars league as well as in a mixed league with his wife Maria and brother.

Marshall currently coaches for the Star Lanes Alley Katz League. Not only will you find him at the lanes bowling league during the week, but he is also practicing with his sons Will and Levi and working at the Grip n Rip Pro Shop which he co owns at Star Lanes. Marshall spends most of his weekends traveling to bowling tournaments.

Has an impressive bowling resume: High average of 248; 26 sanctioned 300 games (68 total); 20 – 11 in a Row; 50 – 750+ Series with highest series bowled 857. Title Winner: 2017 Southeastern Doubles Winner, 2018 Southeastern All Events Winner, Over 20 Scratch Titles and 8 Handicap Titles including the most recent SCUSBC 2019 Doubles and Match Game winner. Marshall was inducted into the Spartanburg USBC Hall of Fame in 2010.

Marshall loves spending time with his wife & boys both on the lanes and on the golf course.
